Got a call from Kindra this evening. She said it was 103 degrees, humid and hectic today. She said the kids did fine with the heat, but two of the volunteers got sick. Contessa, a girl from Kansas that arrived just yesterday for the week and was rooming with Kindra, had to fly back home today. Her grandfather is very ill and may not live. Kindra was disappointed that she was connecting with another friend and now she had to leave. The directors at BBC sent me an email today and said Kindra is doing great. They are very pleased to have her there. Thanks for all your prayers.
